Rinaldi strengthens strategy in Brazil’s Northeast and unveils new products at Feira Moto Nordeste in Paraíba

Company expands its presence in the region, focuses on closer ties with distributors and retailers, and presents new additions to the SS48 and MS49 lines at the Northeast’s leading B2B motorcycle parts event.

Rinaldi arrives at the 11th Feira Moto Nordeste, beginning this Thursday, September 17, in Campina Grande, Paraíba, exhibiting and launching products and pursuing a strategy of using one of Brazil’s leading motorcycle parts industry gatherings to strengthen relationships, expand business and present new products developed for different motorcyclist profiles.

A recognized name in Brazil’s manufacture of tires and inner tubes, Rinaldi will be at the Campina Grande Convention Center through Saturday, September 19, serving distributors, retailers and industry professionals at Booth 2A on Aisle A.

Considered one of the country’s leading B2B events for the motorcycle parts segment, Feira Moto Nordeste represents a strategic opportunity for Rinaldi to get closer to a market with its own particular characteristics and enormous growth potential. “The Northeast represents one of the most dynamic and promising hubs for Brazil’s motorcycle parts market. Motorcycles are a work tool, a means of daily transportation and mobility in both urban and rural areas. It is a market that places great value on durability, resistance and value for money, attributes that are at the heart of our offering”, says Ivanor Bonato, Rinaldi’s National Sales Manager.

According to the executive, the company’s participation in another edition of the trade show is aligned with four main priorities: expanding and consolidating Rinaldi’s share of the regional market; prospecting for new distributors and retailers; strengthening relationships with current partners; and expanding point-of-sale support initiatives.

“Feira Moto Nordeste allows us to meet face-to-face with our partners, understand their needs and, at the same time, present commercial solutions that help increase product turnover. It is an important opportunity to generate business, but also to listen to the market”, Bonato says.

New products – Among Rinaldi’s highlights at the trade show will be the PD29, BS32, R34 and RS47 lines, as well as the new SS48 and MS49 products, which expand the brand’s presence in the City, Trail and Off-Road segments.

In the SS48 line, Rinaldi is presenting two new sizes at the show: 110/70-14 TL Front and 110/70-17 TL Front, expanding its range of tubeless (TL) tires.

The 110/70-14 TL Front size was developed for front-wheel application on automatic scooters such as the Honda PCX 160 and similar models, complementing the rear size already available in the portfolio. The 110/70-17 TL Front, meanwhile, is intended for mid-displacement street and sport motorcycles between 250 and 400 cc, pairing with the 150/60-17 rear size and serving models such as the Honda CB 300, Yamaha Fazer 250, Kawasaki Ninja and similar motorcycles.

With its sporty design and tubeless construction, the SS48 aims to provide grip, stability and safety on both dry and wet surfaces. With the new sizes, the SS48 family now offers 12 options, consolidating Rinaldi’s presence in the on-road segment.

In the Off-Road segment, the highlight is the MS49, developed for trail riding and Enduro and offered in four sizes: 80/100-21 MS49 – front, 90/100-21 MS49 – front, 110/100-18 MS49 – rear and 120/100-18 MS49 – rear.

The tire was developed with a compound designed for resistance and durability on intermediate terrain. The design also takes into account aspects related to compound efficiency and sustainability.

“The MS49 has a very interesting characteristic, which is impact absorption. On the trail, when you encounter sharp-edged rocks, it helps the suspension do its job and transfers less impact to the handlebars. At the same time, it’s a tire that delivers a great deal of performance”, Bonato explains.

Versatility is another strength of the product. Availability in two front sizes also accommodates different usage profiles. The 80/100 version is recommended for applications such as Motocross, Velocross and certain FIM Enduro events, while the 90/100 is geared toward riders seeking greater comfort for trail riding.

Northeast: a strategic market for Rinaldi – With a fleet of more than 11 million motorcycles, Brazil’s Northeast occupies a prominent position in the country’s two-wheel market. In many cities throughout the region, motorcycles long ago ceased to be merely an alternative means of transportation and began to play a fundamental role in mobility and income generation.

Professional use, especially by workers who depend on motorcycles every day, is combined with their use in rural areas and the growth of delivery services in major urban centers. For Rinaldi, this scenario increases demand for tires capable of withstanding intensive use and different road and terrain conditions. “Motorcyclists in the Northeast understand very well the importance of a tire that delivers performance and durability. There are long distances, high temperatures, different types of surfaces and often very demanding use. That’s why we believe our portfolio is very well suited to the needs of this market”, Bonato explains.

The company has also been strengthening its sales structure in the region. The National Sales Representation Force, created to expand Rinaldi’s presence in strategic states, is now well established and works together with the distributor network.

“The National Sales Representation Force has played a key role in expanding the presence of our entire portfolio in the regional motorcycle parts retail market. We know we still have enormous growth potential in the region, and for that reason we maintain ongoing work with our distributors, investing in training and technical and sales instruction”, the Manager emphasizes.

Business and relationships – As this is an event targeted at the professional market, Rinaldi has prepared specific commercial initiatives for the region’s distributors. The company will offer exclusive cooperative terms to encourage higher-volume purchases during the trade show.

“Our intention is for visitors to find not only products at the booth, but also people prepared to discuss their business, understand each partner’s needs and build opportunities. We want to turn our presence at the trade show into relationships and, above all, into business that continues after the event ends”, Bonato says.

According to Jana Brun Nalin, Head of Marketing at Rinaldi, the booth experience was designed to bring the brand even closer to its partners. “We’ll have an interactive presentation of the portfolio, highlighting the SS48 and MS49 launches, as well as an area dedicated to sales support. We’ll also present Trade Marketing solutions, such as cooperative display units, helping improve product presentation at retail locations”, Jana explains. The program will also include giveaways and relationship-building activities with distributors, retailers and mechanics.
