In addition to Herrera, Renato Paz and Edinaldo Rolim – Beta Racing riders – took part in the competition last weekend. The Chilean finished third overall in Super Pro, while the Brazilian riders highlighted what they learned in their debut.
August 2026 – Team Rinaldi Enduro riders took part in an international challenge last Saturday (22) in Tiltil (Chile). Camilo Herrera, Renato Paz and Edinaldo Rolim, from Beta Racing, competed in the Sprint Cup, a championship that brings together leading names in the discipline in a dynamic, fast-paced format without long transfers.
The 5th round of the Sprint Cup marked an important achievement for the team, as Herrera secured 3rd place on the podium in the Super Pro overall standings, while Brazilian Renato Paz finished 8th (Super Pro) and Edinaldo Rolim finished 18th (Super Expert +35). All three riders were equipped with the Rinaldi HE40 model (FIM-approved for Enduro competitions).
Leader of the Brazilian Enduro Championship in both Elite overall and E3, Chilean rider Herrera delivered a consistent performance throughout the race, confirming his Top 3 finish. The result reinforces the rider’s competitiveness and adds to his strong record in the competition.
“The Sprint Cup was a very good race, where I competed against champions Andrea Verona and Alex Salvini. I finished P3 overall, and it was a very difficult and complicated race. The tires performed very well, always giving me confidence and making me feel safe on the bike, as well as providing good performance and traction”, Herrera says, referring to the high level of the competition, which also featured Italian riders Verona, the overall race winner, and Salvini, both FIM Enduro world champions.
Renato Paz, meanwhile, emphasized the technical level and the learning experience. “It was a really great day of racing and I learned a lot. The level is very high, and I was riding a bike I wasn’t used to and had food poisoning, but even so I managed to improve throughout the race and returned to Brazil having gained valuable experience”, says the rider from Bragança Paulista, São Paulo. “I used the RS47 on the front and the HE40 on the rear and had excellent performance and grip”, adds the runner-up in the Elite overall standings of the Brazilian Enduro Championship and E2 leader, who finished the Sprint Cup in the Super Pro Top 8.
Minas Gerais native Edinaldo Rolim competed in Super Expert +35, the same category as multi-time world champion Alex Salvini, and finished 18th. “It was incredible; I learned a lot. The riders there are very fast and the Special Tests are very wide, so it was different for me and important for my development”, he explains. “The tires made all the difference. The terrain was good for accelerating, and in the corners we could push hard because the tires gave us confidence. Now I need to keep training to achieve better results in upcoming international races as well”, he concludes.
The Sprint Race round in Chile featured 413 riders from several countries and produced a positive outcome for Team Rinaldi, with two riders in the Top 10 and valuable lessons to take into upcoming challenges.
