After Paraná round, Team Rinaldi remains at the top of the Brazilian Enduro Championship in Elite and Open

Camilo Herrera won in Elite and E3; Renato Paz finished 2nd in E2 and maintained his lead in the category, both representing Beta Racing. Geraldo Neto won E4 and ENH. Camilo and Renato will compete in the Sprint Cup Chile on 8/22.

August 2026 – Team Rinaldi won the Brazilian Enduro Championship for the 7th consecutive round with Beta Racing riders, whose team is sponsored by the brand. Despite adverse conditions caused by rain in the region of Reserva, Paraná, Camilo Herrera #83 (Beta Racing) dominated the round and secured another victory in both Elite overall and E3, maintaining his lead in the standings last weekend (8).

Renato Paz #101 (Beta Racing) showed determination and, even after taking a hard hit during the race, returned and finished the round 2nd in E2 and in the Elite Top 5. The rider from Bragança Paulista, São Paulo, remains the E2 leader and is now runner-up in the Elite overall standings.

“We raced in very difficult conditions because of the mud and rain, but I managed to finish 1st in the category and also in the overall standings. With this result I remain the championship leader and very motivated to fight for the title here in Brazil”, says Herrera, a native of Talca, Chile.

Two more riders from Beta’s factory team reached the podium. Espírito Santo native Danilo Sfalsin #21 secured P4 in EJ and P9 in the Elite overall standings. Minas Gerais native Edinaldo Rolim #717 finished 5th in E35.

Geraldo Neto #450 won E4 and the ENH subcategory and finished 2nd in the Open overall standings. “I was very happy to win the round, especially in these conditions, and I secured important points for the championship”, says the E4 and ENH runner-up. “Even with the very slippery, muddy terrain, I felt confident and safe and was able to maintain a good pace”, adds the rider from Paraopeba, Minas Gerais, who competed with the MS49 80/100-21 (front) and MS49 120/100-18 (rear).

Championship leader in E4 and ENH, Flavinho Volpi #16 finished the round 3rd in both E4 and ENH and 5th in Open. “It was completely different terrain from what we’re used to riding on. But the Rinaldi tires provided a lot of traction and helped us tremendously, making an incredible difference in the race. I chose the MS49 for both the front and rear, and it worked perfectly”, praises the Espírito Santo native, who leads the Open overall standings.

The bad weather worsened on Sunday (9), with heavy rain continuing to batter the terrain, making it impossible for the round to continue. The 8th round was canceled by the organizers to preserve rider safety. The final Special Test had already been canceled on Saturday.

Another positive result, with victories by riders representing Rinaldi in the Brazilian Enduro Championship. Team Rinaldi continues to dominate the Elite and Open overall standings and leads the E2 (Renato Paz), E3 (Camilo Herrera), E4 (Flavinho Volpi) and EF (Bárbara Neves) categories.

International Challenge – Next week, Brazilian Championship leaders in their respective categories Renato Paz and Camilo Herrera will represent Rinaldi in Chile. The riders will compete in the 5th round of the Sprint Cup on 8/22. It is an Enduro championship in Chile that brings together leading names in the discipline, with a dynamic, fast-paced format and no long transfers.

“It will be my first time competing in the event. The championship has a very high level, and my expectation is to learn and improve. I’m very motivated to compete and represent my country, my team and my sponsors”, says Renato Paz, who will compete in the Super Pro category equipped with the MS49 model.
