Rodar com a Rinaldi é transformar caminhos em possibilidades, é ser você onde quer que esteja, em todos os pódios de sua vida

Rinaldi reinforces commitment to off-road and sponsors 15th Bananalama

Multi-time Motocross champion Maiara Basso (Rinaldi ambassador) and 10-time Brazilian Enduro Champion Rômulo Bottrel (the brand’s technical consultant) will lead the trail ride. The “Rinaldi Squad” will be equipped with MS49 tires.

Rinaldi, a recognized name in Brazil’s manufacture of tires and inner tubes, confirms its participation as a sponsor of the 15th edition of Bananalama, considered one of the world’s largest gatherings of trail riders. The event takes place from July 9 to 12, 2026, in Corupá, Santa Catarina, bringing together thousands of motorcyclists, riders, exhibitors and off-road enthusiasts for a program combining adventure, entertainment and camaraderie.

Having participated in previous editions, Rinaldi returns as one of the main sponsors of this historic comeback of the event (whose last edition was held in 2022), reinforcing its connection with a segment that has been part of the brand’s history for decades.

“Sponsoring Bananalama represents a unique opportunity to strengthen our relationship even further with the off-road community, an audience that is part of Rinaldi’s history”, says Jana Brun Nalin, Head of Marketing at Rinaldi. “Being at such an iconic event reinforces our commitment to the segment and allows us to showcase the evolution of our products, developed through intensive engineering work and field validation”, the executive adds.

According to event organizer Junior Seco: “Rinaldi is a brand that is part of the history of Brazilian off-road riding and has a genuine connection with the Bananalama audience. Having the company as a sponsor of this 15th edition is very gratifying. Having by our side a brand that invests in the sport, supports riders and contributes to the development of the segment further strengthens the event and provides a more complete experience for trail riders and visitors. We thank Rinaldi for its trust and partnership in this historic return of Bananalama”.

In this edition, multi-time champions Maiara Basso (Motocross), Rinaldi ambassador, and Rômulo Bottrel (Enduro), the brand’s technical consultant, will lead the trail ride.

The Rio Grande do Sul native holds 17 national titles in Motocross, Velocross and Enduro. After two decades of competitions, she ended her professional career in 2024 but continues to contribute to the development of the sport. Minas Gerais native Bottrel, meanwhile, has an extensive Enduro career with 10 Brazilian titles, as well as a Gold Medal in the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE).

Experience and interaction with the public – To bring participants even closer to the brand, Rinaldi has prepared a series of activations throughout the four days of Bananalama. Activities include giveaways, prize drawings, a photo area, product displays, interaction with riders and activities conducted by promotional staff.

At the booth, visitors will be able to see the complete line of motorcycle tires, with emphasis on the off-road and on/off-road segments, as well as the RQ45 ATV line. Featured products will include the MS49, RS47 and HE40 models, which are well known and widely used by Enduro riders in competitions and recreational activities.

At Bananalama, the “Rinaldi Squad”, consisting of five trail/Enduro riders, will wear exclusive uniforms and use the brand‘s MS49 tires, as well as Rinaldi 4 mm heavy-duty inner tubes. “The Rinaldi Squad was created to demonstrate in practice that amateur riders and passionate trail riders have access to the same tires used by professional riders such as Camilo Herrera and Renato Paz, leaders of the Brazilian FIM Enduro Championship. The MS49 line is designed for all types of terrain and challenges, trails, and Enduro competitions. The same technology, performance and capability”, says Camila Scarton, Rinaldi’s Technical Manager for Research & Development.

According to Camila, who will be at the Rinaldi booth during the event, the structural design of the MS49 was specially developed for trail riders who like to ride with lower tire pressure without compromising or damaging the tire carcass.

MPX MOTO PARTS, Rinaldi’s representative in Santa Catarina, will be present with a specialized team to assist visitors and will offer special sales terms during the event.

Coverage of the event will be available on the brand’s social media channels, bringing the main highlights of the program to motorcyclists throughout Brazil.

Bananalama brings together thousands of off-road enthusiasts – Held in Corupá, in northern Santa Catarina, Bananalama has established itself as one of the leading gatherings of trail riders. Over its 14 editions, more than 26,000 participants have attended the event, which attracts visitors from several Brazilian states and countries such as Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile.

The last edition, in 2022, recorded more than 5,000 validated registrations and attracted approximately 60,000 people to the city. In 2026, the expectation is to repeat that success with a program that includes trails for motorcycles, ATVs and UTVs, an extreme-stunt arena, product exhibitions, an amusement park and free concerts by Brazilian artists.
